Produced from 1994 to 1999, the RC45 was Honda’s World Superbike homologation special built to take the place of the aging RC30 which was introduced in 1988. Bigger and beefier than the RC30, the RC45 was an evolution of the RC30 with more horsepower and fuel injection to make it more competition. 200 bikes were produced in 1994 to meet World Superbike homologation requirements and the number produced after 1994 is unclear with some sources citing 500 more bikes and other sources citing a total production of 1000 bikes. In any case, the RC45 is much rarer than the RC30 of which 3,000 to 6,000 were purported to have been made. An RC45 ridden by American John Kocinski won the World Superbike championship in 1997.

This bike is a European bike which spent time in Japan, before being imported to the U.S. by White Knuckle Motorsports in Utah in 2019. The bike is completely original and stock except for the tires.
