Built to celebrate the 1983 Yamaha 500GP V4 2 stroke OW69 which Eddie Lawson used to win the championship in 1984, this bike featured a 500cc V4 2 stroke engine (two parallel twins with separate cranks ganged together in a 50 degree V orientation) in a hand built aluminum frame. Produced for the Japan market, only 1500 of these bikes were produced and they are first production motorcycles to feature aluminum frames. Required to conform to Japanese horsepower limits, the exhausts on these were restricted.

This bike is in stock condition, but will ultimately a set of aftermarket expansion chambers along with correct jetting will be put on the bike to reduce the weight of the bike and increase power.
