The 1984 Yamaha RZ350 was the last street legal 2 stroke motorcycle to be produced for sale in the U.S.. They were also the last iteration of the 350cc Yamaha liquid cooled 2 cylinder 2 stroke motorcycles introduced in 1980 to replace the air cooled 400cc RD bikes. The bikes featured a quarter fairing, Yamaha traditional yellow and black bumble bee speedstripe paint and catalytic converters in the expansion chambers to meet emissions requirements. Light, easily modified for better handling and power and relatively inexpensive these were favorites of amateur racers and street hooligans. Because of this, while many were produced and sold, many were used up and destroyed so good examples can be hard to come by.

This bike has K&N pod filters, and Spec II expansion chambers to improve engine performance and is otherwise stock. The stock airbox, air filter and exhaust system with catalytic converters is stored so the bike can be returned to stock condition for static display in the future.
